So the scammers are at it again and this time they are scaring people into believing that their domain has been suspended so you better click their link to fix the issue blah blah blah.

Now these emails will actually have the company name in the title and the body of the email as they can easily access this information. This can make it seem legit. It will even have your real name that they also can get from the WHOIS search.

To be sure, you can visit your site and see its still up.

If you are not sure, contact your Registrar of you domain name directly, never click a link in an email that your not 100% sure is genuine!

The email body will be something similar to the below.



Dear [Insert Client name],

The Domain Name [insert domain here] have been suspended for violation of the [Registrar company] Abuse Policy.

Multiple warnings were sent by [Registrar company] Spam and Abuse Department to give you an opportunity to address the complaints we have received.

We did not receive a reply from you to these email warnings so we then attempted to contact you via telephone.

We had no choice but to suspend your domain name when you did not respond to our attempts to contact you.
